Strength & conditioning sessions in the morning, martial arts sessions in the afternoon and evening
Message or call us and we'll help you choose: the whole gym is on one phone number.
Of course, you can come to our sessions even if you're a beginner and not in good shape yet. Learning the techniques takes time. You don't need to get ready beforehand: your fitness will improve as you train.
Choose a session based on what kind of movement you're after and what you feel like doing. You'll find a more detailed introduction to each sport on its own page.
If you're still unsure, give us a call. We'll talk through what you're looking for and help you choose.
We welcome children to judo from around the age of 4, and to kids' karate from age 7-8. The Beginners' group is for nursery and early primary school children, and the Kids' group is for school-age children. Both groups train twice a week in the afternoon. In the summer we also run a judo day camp for 6-14-year-olds. You'll find the session times in the weekly timetable.
Kids' karate classes are taught mainly in English.
You can start as an adult too, even if you've never done a martial art before. In Brazilian jiu-jitsu and aikido several age groups train together, and we welcome beginners. You can also come to MMA and the morning strength & conditioning sessions with no previous experience. If you're not sure which would suit you, let's talk about it on the phone.
Yes, the first session is free. You don't have to buy a pass straight away after that either: where there's a single-session ticket, you can come with that (Brazilian jiu-jitsu, aikido and strength & conditioning). Discuss the details with the coach for that sport.
You'll find the prices of single-session tickets and monthly passes on the Prices page.
Our gym's address is Karolina út 17/B, 1113 Budapest, in District XI, close to District XII. All our sessions are held here.
There are tram and bus stops within about 100 metres of the gym. If you come by car, you'll always find a parking space on the street, including on Karolina út right in front of the gym. We don't have a covered car park or our own parking spaces.
You'll find the details and a map on the Contact page.
At your first session nobody expects you to have any skills or fitness: no previous experience is needed, and you go at your own pace. Exactly what happens depends on the sport.
Long trousers, a T-shirt, flip-flops, a water bottle. Don't buy a judogi or BJJ gi for your first session. You can read how a session runs, sport by sport, on the first session page.
Bring comfortable sportswear, flip-flops and a water bottle. You don't need to buy a judogi or BJJ gi for your first session. For MMA you'll need boxing gloves. If you don't have any yet, let us know in advance. For strength & conditioning, bring clean indoor trainers and a towel too. For personal training, however, you don't need trainers, as the session takes place on the tatami.
Keep your fingernails and toenails short, as long nails can scratch during partner work. You'll find the full list, sport by sport, on the first session page.
No, as a beginner you don't have to spar at your first session. In judo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu you first learn breakfalls, and you practise techniques in pairs, slowly and without resistance. In your first few sessions you can watch the more experienced members spar, or join in at a very gentle pace.
In MMA you practise each area separately first and only then put them together. Aikido isn't a competitive sport, so there's no sparring.
Monthly passes cost the following for each sport: kids' judo HUF 20,000-22,000, competition judo HUF 26,000, Brazilian jiu-jitsu HUF 25,000, aikido HUF 18,000 and strength & conditioning HUF 16,000-22,000. With a single-session ticket, one session costs: Brazilian jiu-jitsu HUF 4,000, aikido HUF 3,000 and strength & conditioning HUF 5,000.
Prices for the following sessions haven't been published yet: kids' karate, MMA and personal training. Ask the coach about these. The price list has been valid since 1 September 2026; you'll find the details on the Prices page.
Call the club on +36 30 221 9992, or message the coach of your chosen sport directly on WhatsApp. You can also sign up with the WhatsApp button on each sport's page: the button opens a chat with the coach with a pre-written message.
You'll find the coaches' phone numbers, sport by sport, on the Contact page too. If you have a specific question, you can call them directly.
We run sessions from Monday to Friday in the morning, afternoon and evening; there are no scheduled sessions at the weekend. Strength & conditioning is in the morning, the kids' sessions start in the afternoon, and the adult combat sports and martial arts sessions are in the evening.
There may be changes around public holidays and competition periods. You'll find the exact times in the weekly timetable.
Choose judo, Brazilian jiu-jitsu or aikido: these are built on throws, groundwork and joint techniques. In Brazilian jiu-jitsu there's no punching or kicking at all. In judo you take your opponent to the ground with a throw and finish the contest with a pin, a choke or an armlock. Aikido is a non-competitive martial art where technique and cooperation matter more than strength.
Striking and kicking are the basis of kids' karate and MMA. In MMA you practise both stand-up and groundwork within a single session.
You don't have to compete: in kids' judo competing is optional, and aikido isn't a competitive sport at all. For young competitors, the Competition group trains on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
In kids' karate, particularly keen and committed children can later get involved in competitive sport too.
Sessions are run by the coaches of each sport. Judo is taught by club leader Rajcsányi Gergő (judo 2nd dan) and Herédi Ákos (judo 1st dan), Brazilian jiu-jitsu by Fazekas András (BJJ black belt), aikido by Balázs Gábor (aikido 5th dan), and kids' karate by Vass Melinda (karate 2nd dan). MMA is led by Jerger Márton (Zen Bu Kan Kempo 1st dan), and the strength & conditioning sessions are run by Őri Csanád (judo brown belt) and Jerger Márton.
You'll find the coaches' grades, competition records and phone numbers on the Our coaches page.
Yes, you can also book personal training: it's a one-to-one session whose content is shaped by your goals. You can sign up regardless of gender, age or fitness level. The session typically consists of striking and kicking drills on focus mitts. If you like, it can also include strength, endurance and mobility work, using your own bodyweight or weights.
Personal training is run by Jerger Márton, and you arrange the time directly with him. For Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Free Flow Jiu-Jitsu also offers private one-to-one or small-group sessions, likewise by arrangement.
