Aikido
The aim of the Musubi Aikido dojo is to maintain a community and creative workshop where aikido can be studied by everyone from beginners to experienced practitioners. Alongside technical progress, our classes put special emphasis on safe practice, cooperation and a supportive atmosphere, where beginners can feel free to ask questions and more advanced students can push their own limits.
Aikido is a Japanese martial art created by Master Morihei Ueshiba (O-Sensei) in the first half of the 20th century, building on the centuries-old traditions of Japanese Budo. It isn't a competitive sport but a long-term path of development, where technique and cooperation matter more than strength. Regular practice improves coordination and body awareness, concentration, stress management, self-confidence and movement skills.
Every year the dojo takes part in several training camps and seminars, which strengthens both technical knowledge and the community.
